Job summary

Pearl Abyss America, Inc. is seeking a driven Community Specialist to help expand our reach in North America across PC and Console. You’ll engage players in-game and on social channels, advocate for players, and relay feedback to the development teams.

You will work closely with Live Service, Content Production, and Customer Support to deliver timely updates, events, and community content. On-site position in Manhattan Beach, CA with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience in the video game industry, especially in community management, customer support, QA, or related fields.
• Experience in social media management across major platforms (Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok).
• Extensive knowledge and gameplay of MMORPG games.
• Experience interacting with gaming communities (forums, social groups).
• Experience in social content creation, posting, calendar publishing, asset creation, copywriting, reporting, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Plan social postings for official channels and interact with players.
• Create or assist in creating visual assets and copywriting for social postings.
• Respond to live game issues and publish notices on forums and social channels.
• Create event plans for player communities and execute them during live service.
• Collaborate with Content Production to create community content (e.g., short-form videos).
• Coordinate with Live Service, Customer Support, and other Community Specialists/Managers to solicit feedback.
• Monitor and report on live-service issues and player feedback.
• Monitor live-streaming and social channels and work with partner influencers.
• Coordinate with community moderators to uphold guidelines and enhance interactions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
