Job summary

The Center for Disability Services is seeking Community Service Professionals to support individuals with developmental disabilities across the Capital District in private homes or community settings. Positions offer daytime, evening, and weekend flexibility with a minimum of 5 hours weekly and a structured schedule.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid NYS driver’s license, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to people with developmental disabilities in private homes or the community.
• Engage in recreational and community-based activities such as shopping, exercise groups, restaurants, and more.
• Provide learning opportunities to support independence goals.
• Help CSPs support learning and practice of skills for greater independence.
