Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island, Inc. seeks a qualified clinician to provide trauma-focused assessments and enhanced services for children, youth, and caregivers in office and community settings, using evidence-based practices like TST, PCIT, and DBT.

You'll collaborate with case managers, psychiatric staff, and other providers, and respond to crises when needed. Remote work is not specified; on-site responsibilities apply.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services required.
• Licensed or eligible to practice in Rhode Island as a social worker, marriage and family therapist, or mental health counselor.
• Experience with children exposed to trauma preferred.
• Spanish-speaking preferred; compensation offered.
• Flexible schedule with some evenings.
• Excellent multitasking and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual/ASL skills compensated (6%); multilingual skills (8%).

FSRI is always looking for candidates that want to make a positive impact on the community!Position Summary: Provides trauma-focused diagnostic assessments and enhanced evidence-based services for children, youth and their caregivers in the community and in the office using evidence-based practices such as Trauma Systems Therapy (TST), Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Collaborates on cases with case managers, psychiatric team, and other service providers to ensure best client care. Provides emergency crisis intervention/assessment as needed.
