Qualifications

• Maintain current certification/licensure or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Level II Texas Non-Commissioned Officer certification; minimum one year experience with a government organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to create and maintain accurate incident reports, records, audits and SOPs.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Patrols District spaces by vehicle or on foot, maintaining visible presence and safety.
• Monitor and control access to District facilities for authorized entry.
• Provide professional, courteous assistance to residents, guests, and staff.
• Serve as a visible, approachable presence while maintaining authority.
• Identify, report, and respond to suspicious activity and emergencies with urgency.
• Conduct preliminary investigations, collect evidence, take statements, and report crimes.
• Create detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security activities.
• Complete monthly audits and inspections with attention to detail, ensuring compliance.
• Collaborates with local, state, and federal law enforcement as needed.
• Monitors facility usage and enforces operating hours according to District guidelines.
