Commonpoint Queens is seeking a Community School Director to lead day‑to‑day operations and oversee Office of Community Schools programming at Queens Academy High School. The role is on‑site five days a week, coordinating student and family support services, programming, and partnerships with school administration and external partners.

The Director will liaise with the school, CBO partners, and city agencies to implement the Community Schools Model, report on progress, and participate in weekly

Competenze

• Master’s degree is preferred (Education, Social Work or Mental Health Counseling).
• 3–5 years working with adolescents in urban environments.
• Ability to administer outcomes‑based youth programming, including planning, staffing, budgeting, and maintaining accurate records.
• LMSW preferred; SIFI certification is a plus.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations.
• Bilingual Spanish or Mandarin.

• Identify roadblocks to successful implementation of services and strategize solutions with school leadership.
• Regularly track and report evidence of impact and progress.
• Coordinate with Commonpoint management to monitor progress and provide implementation support.
• Manage a team delivering high‑quality student services at QAHS and meet contractual expectations.
