Job Goals

Coordinate community school efforts and plan recreational and educational activities for students of Jefferson High School and the larger community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and retain community partnerships that further the mission of the school.
• Assess needs within the school and work with building leadership to determine interventions and supports.
• Plan and implement program activities that are culturally relevant and developmentally appropriate, including education, technology, arts and crafts, sports, and games.
• Supervise students, volunteers, special events, and all activities held at the school, ensuring a safe positive experience for children and adults.
• Interact and communicate effectively with children, parents, caregivers, and volunteers.
• Develop policies and procedures, public relations, and volunteer training and recruiting.
• Plan and prepare for special events as required.
• Attend staff trainings and meetings as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Terms of Employment

This is a grant funded position and is contingent upon grant funding.

This is an at‑will position. The employer or employee may terminate employment at any time or for any reason consistent with applicable state or federal law. The employment at will policy cannot be changed verbally or in writing unless the change is specifically authorized in writing and expressly approved by the Board of Trustees.
