Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ years old and able to obtain CJIS/FBI standards within six months.
• Must pass written exam, panel interview, MMPI, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform shift work in a rotation of days, evenings, and nights, including weekends.
• Carry out routine technical and administrative tasks supporting police operations.
• Answer phones, greet visitors, relay messages to field personnel via radio.
• Take fingerprints by appointment for background checks.
• Enforce parking and animal regulations and assist with traffic control.
• Process crash reports for non-injury crashes and coordinate vehicle tows.
• Serve subpoenas and deliver court paperwork; issue VMCs for violations.
• Perform foot patrols to foster community relations and conduct safety inspections.
• Data entry and general support duties as assigned.
