Job summary

Responsibilities

• Patrols by vehicle or on foot to provide public safety and enforce tribal, state, and federal laws.
• Responds to radio dispatches, calls, informant tips, and walk-in traffic.
• Responds to and investigates crimes reported by private parties and agencies.
• Apprehends law violators and makes arrests based on probable cause.
• Attends court hearings, testifies, presents evidence, and may serve as an expert witness.
