Qualifications

• At least four years of progressively responsible experience in community relations or public relations.
• Two years of college in social sciences or a related field may be substituted for two years of experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Falsifying education or experience may disqualify applicants.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing programs to promote positive relationships with parents and community groups.
• Organize informational workshops and multicultural events for parents, staff, pupils and community members.
• Prepare and distribute informative materials about school policies and programs.
• Train or supervise Instructional Aides in program objectives and parent liaison duties.
• Oversee budget administration and inventory for the community relations program.
