Job summary

Chicago Fire FC is offering a Community Relations / Chicago Fire Foundation Intern position, reporting to the Director of Community Relations. This role supports planning and implementing Foundation programs and community development initiatives, with a scheduled run from March through August.

The intern will assist with coordinating the game day 50-50 raffle, developing and executing programs, and handling logistics for the P.L.A.Y.S.

Qualifications

• Previous community service experience or heart to serve others.
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work autonomously and use excellent judgment in escalating issues to supervisors.
• Proven ability to work on simultaneous projects while maintaining attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, high-performing work environment.
• Knowledgeable of the Chicagoland Area.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative tasks, participant surveys and tracking, recaps, and grant writing.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Position Overview

Compensation

• This role offers a rate of $17.05 per hour
