We are seeking a Community Recovery Manager for the LA Wildfires Long-Term Recovery Operation in California. Preference will be given to candidates living near fire-impacted communities. This is a remote, benefits-eligible position lasting approximately 24 months, with travel to impacted areas required.
Job Overview:
The Community Recovery Manager (CRM) reports to the Senior Manager, Community Recovery, and supports disaster-affected communities, primarily in Malibu, Topanga, and Palisades. The role involves building partnerships, providing support and training, and fostering community collaboration for recovery efforts. The CRM will work closely with regional, chapter, and national teams.
Following the January 8, 2025, Los Angeles Wildfires, the Red Cross is implementing a long-term recovery program to support affected communities through various services and programs.
The salary range is $76,120 - $83,000, aligned with geographic location and experience.
