Job summary

JWCH Institute, Inc is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dentists in providing primary dental care at the JWCH Dental Department. The role includes chairside assistance, instrument sterilization, radiographs, and patient education in a community health setting.

Responsibilities include daily patient flow, record management, and collaboration with Medical and Dental teams. California RDA licensure and bilingual English/Spanish are required, with potential travel between

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Graduation from a California Board-approved RDA program.
• RDA licensure with California Dental Board is required.
• Completion of CA Dental Practice Act course per CA Board requirements.
• Radiation Safety Certificate and Infection Control training are required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists in chairside care using four-handed dentistry.
• Prepare treatment procedures per protocols and dentist instructions.
• Perform radiographs and intraoral photography as per state laws.
• Handle instrument sterilization and infection control across departments.
• Assist with front office duties as needed to streamline patient flow.
• Maintain inventory, prepare patient records, and coordinate with team.
