Job summary

Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana seeks a Community Radiologist to provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging services within a busy community division. The role blends high-quality imaging with teaching opportunities in partnership with IU School of Medicine.

The successful candidate will perform CT, MRI, ultrasound, radiography, and mammography where trained, and will contribute to timely, accurate reporting, clinical consultation, and ongoing quality

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required and Indiana medical license or eligibility.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency.
• Board Certification or eligibility by the American Board of Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Interpret diagnostic imaging studies (CT, MRI, ultrasound, radiography, mammography if trained/certified, nuclear medicine if trained/certified).
• Deliver timely, accurate reports to support patient care.
• Consult with referring physicians regarding imaging findings and recommendations.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and departmental initiatives.
