Job summary

Mi Oh My Farms, a Bronx-based worker-owned urban farm, seeks a Program Coordinator for the Meet the Farmer initiative. You will organize events, build partnerships, and supervise operations to expand access to nutrient-dense foods and urban farming education across the Bronx and NYC.

Responsibilities include coordinating hybrid events, managing sign-ups via Hubspot, collaborating with farm teams, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in event coordination, community outreach, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse communities.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for event management and data tracking.
• Basic understanding of hydroponics, microgreens, or mushrooms or a strong willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage Meet the Farmer events, in-person and hybrid, at partner locations.
• Establish relationships with nonprofits, restaurants, cafes and other partners.
• Facilitate community sign-ups for farm shares and workshops using Hubspot CRM.
• Oversee event logistics, setup, breakdown and materials preparation.
• Engage community members with education on hydroponics, microgreens, and mushrooms.
• Collaborate with Farm team to crop-plan produce for events.
• Track event outcomes and collect feedback.
• Assist in developing outreach materials and strategies.
