Curry County is seeking a Community Program Coordinator to administer the SPF-PFS program, ensuring compliance with the grant and coordinating community outreach and prevention education.
The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement across schools, law enforcement, businesses, and community groups, with a focus on program planning, implementation, and assessment. A two-year timeline to obtain Certified Prevention Specialist is expected if not already certified.
Under the direction of the Community Program Manager, or in his/her absence, the Regional Behavioral Health Administrator, will administer activities of the County’s Strategic Prevention Framework – Partnerships for Success (SPF-PFS) Program while maintaining compliance with the grant agreement. Responsible for coordinating, planning, implementing, and assessing community outreach and prevention education to further the Substance Use and Behavioral Health program and its related initiatives. Driver of stakeholder engagement to manage active partnerships necessary to the program, including school administrators, educators, law enforcement, business owners, community organizations, etc.
