Job summary

Willing Hands in Norwich, Vermont is seeking a Delivery Driver to support picking up, handling, sorting, tracking, and delivering free produce to 85 food access partners. You will drive a 14-20 ft box truck, pass a DOT physical, and maintain accurate records while upholding safety standards.

The role emphasizes reliability, organization, and positive relations with donors and partners. Expect frequent lifting, driving, and early/late shifts as needed to support our mission in the Upper Valley

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drive a 14-20 foot box truck.
• Frequent lifting of 40 pounds throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Record-keeping and data entry for pickups and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery route as per schedule and load/unload trucks.
• Weigh and record all incoming/outgoing food.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and report maintenance needs.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and temperature checks.
