Quinlan Police Department is seeking a Patrol Officer to perform police patrol duties, respond to calls, and maintain public safety within the City of Quinlan. You will follow all department policies, interact professionally with the public, and work with other agencies and city departments.

The role requires completion of a police academy, Texas Peace Officer License, and a valid Texas driver’s license, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and public service.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or recognized police academy.
• Must obtain a TCOLE Certificate. Must obtain valid Texas Peace Officer License. Ability to maintain certifications.
• Possession of a valid Texas driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Preserve order, protect life and property, enforce laws and ordinances.
• Respond to calls related to traffic, crimes against persons or property, and other enforcement activities.
• Maintain professional/public interactions and comply with department policies.
• Maintain records, evidence, property and equipment in good order.
• Exhibit professionalism and promote public safety, crime prevention and education.
• Coordinate with other agencies and city departments as needed.
• Prepare clear incident reports and maintain effective communications.
