Job summary

The Omaha Tribe of Nebraska is seeking Police Officers to patrol the Omaha Reservation, enforce tribal and federal laws, and engage with community members to promote safety. Officers work with various units and respond to emergencies, accidents, and disturbances.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain BIA or State Police Officer certification.
• Must have Nebraska driver’s license and be insurable.
• Must be willing to submit to background checks and polygraph, drug and alcohol tests.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to enforce laws and investigate crimes on the Omaha Reservation.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in crimes in progress to protect life and property.
• Conduct interviews to elicit information and assist in locating missing persons.
