Job summary

Eau Claire Cooperative Health Center, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in daily operations within a community health setting in Columbia, SC. You will help with prescriptions, labeling, and medication preparation under supervision.

Qualifications

Pharmacy Technician certification (SC Board) required.
1+ year experience as a pharmacy technician preferred.
Working knowledge of pharmacy software and hardware.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Typing skills and general computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

Prepare medication orders; counting, pouring, reconstituting medications; prepare labels.
Receive prescriptions (written, faxed, or electronic) and verify accuracy before entry into the system.
Assist with administrative tasks: cash register, filing, insurance claims, inventory tracking.
Manage inventory; place orders, verify receipt, and reconcile stock.
Maintain orderly, clean pharmacy area and ensure safety compliance.
