Job summary

Hope Dental Clinic is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to support underserved communities with dispensing medications and patient support. You will work with the clinic's Pharmacy RN and volunteer pharmacists to ensure accurate labeling, inventory control, and compliant record-keeping.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, cultural humility, and collaboration with staff to connect patients with medication assistance programs and discount options.

Qualifications

• Active State Pharmacy Technician License and CPhT credential required.
• 1–2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in clinical or retail settings.
• Bilingual proficiency preferred (Spanish, Arabic, or languages common to patient population).

Responsibilities

• Accurately package, label, and dispense prescription medications under supervision.
• Greet patients, answer non-clinical inquiries, assist with prescriptions and refills.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate medication orders from retail and charitable sources.
• Maintain accurate EHR and pharmacy logs, ensuring HIPAA compliance and policies.
• Process MAP applications and support patient advocacy while keeping a clean dispensary.
