Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Community / Retail Pharmacy Manager (Pharmacist in Charge) with Baptist Health Louisville. Responsible for overseeing pharmacy operations and personnel, staffing, compliance with Board of Pharmacy rules, and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Role requires licensure in KY/IN, immunization certification, and a background in community pharmacy management with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required.
• Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Master's or Doctorate of Pharmacy preferred.
• 1 year of work-related experience required.
• Pharmacy management experience preferred.
• KY and/or IN Board of Pharmacy license in good standing.
• Life Support Training (ACLS/BLS/PALS) required.
• Immunization certificate within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee community pharmacy operations and staff.
• Staffing in the community pharmacy as required by the Board of Pharmacy.
• Ensure compliance with Baptist Health policies, 340B, accrediting bodies, REMS, audits, and regulations.
• Maintain appropriate licensure and supervise dispensing activities.
• Lead programs to reduce medication errors and ensure patient safety.
