Job summary

Meijer in Richmond, IN is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our community-focused team. You will ensure patients receive medications and care, participate in patient consultations and immunizations, and mentor pharmacy technicians.

You will work under Meijer policies, navigate state and federal regulations, and maintain strong relationships with patients and staff. A Bachelor's or PharmD and Indiana license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Doctorate in Pharmacy is required.
• Licensed pharmacist in the state of practice (Indiana).
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community pharmacy practice experience.
• Knowledge of pharmacy systems and state/federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform at their best.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively and provide patient counseling, including immunizations.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in absence of the pharmacist in charge.
• Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations.
• Contribute to other duties as assigned.
