Freeman Recovery Center is seeking a Community Partnerships Associate to build and strengthen connections with hospitals, clinics, and social services, expanding access to its programs and supporting growth. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four‑year college or university.
  • Experience and knowledge of substance abuse and local/regional market.
  • Experience with treatment facilities and/or addiction and mental health population preferred.
  • Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new partnerships with hospitals, physician offices, treatment centers, EAPs, medical facilities, unions, Veterans Affairs, behavioral health providers, recovery courts, and other social services and community organizations.
  • Strengthen existing partnerships by serving as a trusted resource, fostering collaboration, and maintaining consistent follow‑up.
  • Represent Freeman Recovery Center at industry events, community meetings, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and strengthen community presence.
  • Work closely with the admissions team, clinical team, and Community Partnerships Coordinator to support outbound referrals and ensure timely follow‑up.
  • Offer support by identifying resources for aftercare and housing, and ensure clinical teams are aware of these opportunities.
  • Provide feedback from the community to help align services with evolving client and partner needs.
  • Create and implement a quarterly community partnerships plan that reflects territory‑specific opportunities and organizational priorities.
  • Prospect new clients and partners through direct outreach, including in‑person visits, calls, and meetings.
  • Identify opportunities for cross‑collaboration with ancillary health services, both in‑state and out‑of‑state.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the CRM, logging daily outreach, partner activity, and outcomes.
  • Track relationship health, referral activity, and community feedback to ensure strong, sustainable partnerships.
  • Elevate concerns or barriers to the Director of Community Partnerships for support and resolution.
  • Operate in alignment with Freeman Recovery Center’s mission, values, code of conduct, and compliance standards.
  • Adhere strictly to legal, regulatory, and ethical guidelines in all outreach and partnership activities.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual expectations for outreach activity, new partnerships, and referral growth.

Job Purpose:

The Community Partnerships Associate is responsible for building and strengthening community partnerships that expand access to Freeman Recovery Center’s services and support strategic growth. This role focuses on creating meaningful connections with healthcare providers, community organizations, and referral partners to ensure individuals in need are connected to care. The emphasis is on fostering strategic, long-term relationships and supporting the admissions team with lead generation to maintain the health of both new and existing partnerships.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four‑year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience and knowledge of substance abuse and local/regional market
  • Experience with treatment facilities and/ or addiction and mental health population preferred
  • Sales and/or marketing experience
