Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Paramedic for Mobile Integrated Health in North Carolina. The role involves rotating EMS shifts, delivering high-quality patient care, and documenting care accurately for HIPAA compliance. A Paramedic certification or an Associate's in Paramedicine is required, with 1–3 years of related experience.

National Registry or Community Paramedic credentials are preferred within 1 year. Drivers must have a valid license and be capable of driving in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Paramedic Certification or Associate's degree in Paramedicine is required.
• 1–3 years of full-time experience in a 911 system as paramedic or in a comprehensive ED.
• National Registry certification preferred within 1 year of hire.
• Certified Community Paramedic preferred within 1 year of hire.
• NC/SC Parametric licensure as applicable in markets.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and documentation in accordance with policy and HIPAA guidelines.
• Interpret data and monitor readings to intervene appropriately for patient safety.
• Administer medications and IV solutions per policy.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and comply with safety standards.
• Support performance improvement activities and coordinate with Mobile Medicine.
