Job summary

Tradesformers is a registered nonprofit serving Pitt County, NC, linking students with skilled trades through member companies. The Liaison will be the main contact for community, businesses, and the school system, working closely with the Work-Based Learning Coordinator to expand student placements and partnerships.

The role is currently remote on a part-time basis, with potential to become full-time as funding allows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in education, workforce, or non-profit sectors.
• Experience in school systems or career development programs is highly desirable.
• Self-starter with flexibility and reliable scheduling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison for community, businesses, and the school system.
• Collaborate with member companies and Work-Based Learning Coordinator to grow partnerships.
• Recruit and vet new business partners; meet with potential members.
• Assist in budgeting and grant tracking; support renewal processes.
• Coordinate communications, scheduling, and calendar planning for recruitment cycles.
• Represent Tradesformers professionally and manage confidential information.
