Job summary

Parents and Children Together in Kapolei, Hawaii seeks an Outreach Worker for full-time, non-exempt work with a flexible environment. The role offers a starting pay of $20.85 per hour plus a competitive benefits package.

Essential duties include supervising family visitations, outreach to high- and low-risk families, and coordinating transportation and documentation. A valid driver's license, auto access, and no-fault insurance are required; a Bachelor’s in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possesses and maintains a valid driver’s license.
• Has daily access to an automobile.
• Possesses and maintains proof of no-fault insurance.
• Can obtain an acceptable pre-hire driver’s abstract.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervised family visitation and outreach services to referred families, focusing on parenting, problem solving, and communication.
• Assist clients in reducing risk factors and increasing protective factors through strengths-based approaches.
• Coordinate transportation, supervision and monitoring of children during visitations and home visits.
• Complete assessments and documentation in line with guidelines and policies.
• Consult regularly with Clinical Therapist/Case Manager and Program Supervisor.
• Support families in achieving goals on the IPP to reach permanency.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and workshops as arranged.
