Job summary

Parents And Children Together in Honolulu, HI, is seeking an Employment Support Specialist to help low-income clients access job readiness and placement services. The role supports EOC programs under the Program Supervisor, with a flexible work environment and regular full-time hours.

You will deliver case management, coordinate outreach, track outcomes, and assist clients in developing employment goals while connecting them with training and tuition assistance resources.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• One (1) or more years of experience in a community-based or human services related field is required.
• Experience providing job placement, job readiness, and/or case management support services is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Behave in a manner that supports the agency’s mission and follows personnel policies and procedures.
• Provide job readiness, job placement and advancement, and case management services for program participants.
• Support clients in creating and maintaining job readiness and employment goal plans and barrier reduction plans.
• Complete contract deliverables such as outreach and recruitment, intake and assessment activities, completion of job readiness training, job placement, 30-day follow-up on job placement, and completion of tuition assistance support.
• Accurately track client activities and maintain client records; input data into required systems.
• Network with employer partners to ensure flow of new clients and opportunities for clients in the job market.
• Complete documentation for program reports and records.
• Participate in team and external events as directed.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred)
