Job summary

Kansas Children's Service League in Great Bend, KS is seeking a full-time Healthy Families Family Engagement Coordinator to engage new families through community outreach and parent engagement activities. The role may include evenings and weekends, with a starting wage at $18.00 per hour on a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in working with or providing services to children and families.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries when providing supportive services.
• Able to work flexible schedule, which could include some evening/weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a list of community partners and provide regular communication with partners regarding program openings.
• Market the program to potential referral sources, make in-person visits, give presentations, and recruit/retain families.
• Attend community meetings and events to promote the program and connect with families.
• Develop a Parent Advisory Council and recruit families to participate.
• Lead quarterly Family Time events and support play groups for participants.
