Job summary

myPlace Health seeks a Community Business Development Specialist to connect seniors, families, and partners with our PACE program. You’ll build partnerships, represent the program at events, and educate communities on holistic elder care.

The role requires 2+ years in outreach or related fields, bilingual communication, and strong relationship-building skills. Travel across South Los Angeles with mileage reimbursement is provided; evenings/weekends may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years in outreach, marketing, sales, or community engagement—preferably in healthcare or senior services.
• Proven results meeting referral or enrollment goals through authentic relationship-building.
• Experience supporting frail seniors or underserved populations preferred.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tagalog, Korean, or Vietnamese) highly valued.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
• Strong network-building and trust creation abilities.
• Comfortable with CRM systems and tracking details.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting partnerships with healthcare providers, senior centers, and community organizations to drive referrals.
• Represent the PACE program at events, health fairs, and community gatherings.
• Educate families on how PACE enhances independence and holistic support.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly referral and enrollment goals.
• Generate qualified leads, schedule center tours, and guide families through enrollment.
• Maintain detailed outreach records and results using CRM tools.
• Uphold DHCS and CMS regulations in outreach and marketing activities.
• Collaborate with outreach, enrollment, and care delivery teams.
• Contribute creative ideas to marketing plans and campaigns.
• Occasional evenings/weekends for events; travel across service area; mileage reimbursement provided.
