Job summary

NATIVE HEALTH seeks an Outreach and Enrollment Specialist (Float) to help families access affordable health insurance options through Medicaid/CHIP and the Health Insurance Marketplace. This full-time role emphasizes outreach with AI/AN communities and promotes enrollment across Maricopa County.

The position requires travel ~75% of the time, occasional evenings/weekends, and collaboration with schools and community partners to expand outreach and enrollment efforts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of eligibility requirements for AHCCCS/CHIP and related programs.
• Excellent customer service skills for patients and community members.
• Experience with community outreach and education.
• Flexibility to accommodate changing department needs.
• Ability to work with diverse communities, including AI/AN.
• Data gathering, analysis, and reporting abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 and related software.
• Ability to manage multiple schedules and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of local community resources.

Responsibilities

• Participates in outreach and enrollment activities promoting NH services.
• Distributes marketing flyers and educational materials ensuring they are culturally competent.
• Enrolls patients in Medicaid/CHIP and Discount programs, and manages fee waivers.
• Monitors enrollment status and renewals, maintaining accurate data.
• Collaborates with local, regional, and statewide outreach efforts.
• Assists clients with enrollment/referrals to public health programs, including home or clinic visits.
• Supports organization needs as required.
