Position Title: Community Outreach Coordinator

Praesum Healthcare started in 2004 and has grown to include over thirty centers across six states, having served over 200,000 patients during its care. With a proven track record of success in the mental health and substance recovery industry, Praesum has been accredited by the Joint Commission and holds licenses and certifications in the states in which they operate. Sunrise Detox Center | Drug & Alcohol Detox offers medically supervised programs to help people with mental health and substance use disorders start their recovery. Ten locations are available across New Jersey, Georgia, Florida, New York, and Massachusetts. These provide safe and comfortable medical detox for alcohol, opiates, and most prescription drugs. The Counseling Center is a leading provider of comprehensive outpatient services, offering medically supervised programs to help individuals overcome addiction and continue their journey toward recovery. The fourteen locations throughout New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and Georgia offer outpatient treatment for addiction, alcoholism, and co-occurring mental health disorders associated with substance use. Evolve Recovery Centers are accredited residential facilities. They have four locations in Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. These facilities treat the mental and behavioral causes of substance use disorders.

Community Outreach Coordinator Job Description:
Develops and grows professional relationships with Primary Care Physicians, hospitals, and other key decision makers of prospective referral resources with the intent of creating long-lasting referral relationships that allow patients the opportunity to utilize Sunrise Detox Centers as part of their treatment process.

This position is responsible for:

1. Developing and growing professional relationships with hospitals, therapists, medical professionals and other key decision makers of prospective referral resources through various methods including door-to-door visits, telephonic communication, one-on-one meetings, presentations, professional organizations, and social electronic media.
2. Consistently meeting weekly and monthly activity expectations for door-to-door check-ins with potential referral partners.
3. Monthly contribution of referrals from personal accounts across all of Praesum Healthcare's Behavioral Health programs and locations with a specific focus on the local market.
4. Understanding their geographic area for the potential of creating professional referral relationships for best utilization opportunities of our detox and counseling treatment programs.
5. Assisting in the development of marketing/PR materials that will be utilized for building/maintaining relationships for their geographic area and/or company.
6. Contributing to the development of and/or participating in seminars and company campaigns for the benefit of obtaining prospective referral resources.
7. Working closely with the Senior Management of the local facilities to help obtain/maintain optimal revenue by achieving maximum referrals for the center’s treatment programs and services.
8. Directly assisting and supporting the marketing department personnel at key meetings with executive-level audiences (expected daily local travel and occasional overnight) which may encompass nights and weekends.
9. Recording daily activity through CRM software.

The ideal person will have:

3. Behavioral Health/Substance Abuse outreach experience preferred but not required.
4. Excellent people and communication skills.
5. Knowledge of Microsoft products and Salesforce.
6. Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.

Full Time
