Summary of Job Duties:
The Outreach Manager for the Arkansas Center for Women and Infants Health and Institute for Community Health Innovation is responsible for community and clinical engagement for maternal child health related projects. This position will engage, maintain, and strengthen relationships with community, clinical, and other stakeholders across Arkansas, both internal and external to UAMS. The Outreach Manager will develop and ensure the implementation of outreach and engagement plans to accelerate partnerships and expand the reach of UAMS maternal health programs. This role includes providing leadership to outreach positions, training/engagement team members, overseeing all aspects of community and clinical engagement to support the success of maternal health programs. the development, implementation, and management of the Healthy Start. , and serving as the primary contact for the program. The Outreach Manager will work closely with senior leaders, outreach team members, health education team, and evaluation managers to ensure project objectives are met.
Some evening and weekend hours, as well as moderate travel within the state, are required. Depending on the selected candidate, this position's primary location can be either Little Rock, AR, or Fayetteville, AR. Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.
- Six (6) years of related experience, with two (2) of those years in a supervisory role.
- A valid AR driver's license is required with current automobile insurance and a reliable car for moderate travel to LR occasionally and to surrounding communities (mileage reimbursed at the current state mileage reimbursement rate) if a state vehicle is not available—occasional out-of-state travel.
- A personal working cell phone is required.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Community and Clinical Engagement
- Build relationships with internal and external partners for program expansion and impact.
- Design, outline, and implement plans and processes for stakeholder board management and facilitation.
- Works with health education and communications teams to develop and deliver appropriate outreach and communication with identified partners within service areas.
- Conducts meetings to discuss program initiatives, progress, and challenges.
- Leads project meetings, workshops, training, or presentations.
Team leadership and Program Coordination
- Works cooperatively as a member of a team to ensure connection and coordination of project objectives.
- Provide direct or indirect leadership of community outreach team members. Ensure new team members are trained and aligned on priorities and provide ongoing support to remove barriers and empower team members to accomplish their work.
- Engages with education and awareness team members in the design and implementation of training engagement and education.
- Identifies barriers and utilizes problem-solving skills to address issues that arise, ensuring all program objectives are met, and data collection processes and procedures are followed.
- Ensure program team members maintain training requirements for UAMS, department, and project standards.
- Ensure program team members comply with accepted standards and engage in a professional and ethical manner.
- Supports continuous quality improvement within programs and projects by addressing deviations as they arise.
