Job summary

Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center in SE Minnesota seeks an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to provide outpatient mental health services in a nonprofit clinic setting. You will work with individuals, couples, families, and communities across several counties, delivering evidence-based therapies and maintaining licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have MN MHP licensure and a graduate degree in mental health.
• Two years’ experience and licensure as LP, LICSW, LMFT or LPCC.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work well in a team of therapists.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document client life situations, symptoms, and diagnoses.
• Develop written intervention plans with goals and responsible staff.
• Provide individual, family, or group psychotherapy as indicated by diagnosis.
• Coordinate therapeutic services with Center staff and consulting prescribers.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and supervision.
• Provide case consultation to health care and human service professionals.
