Job Title: Community Outreach Coordinator
Work Location: Hope, Arkansas
Reports To: Director of Critical Care Transport
Executive Oversight: Chief Operation Officer (joint reporting)
FLSA Status/ Type: Full-Time/Exempt
The Community Outreach Coordinator leads marketing, community engagement, and strategic relationship management for Pafford Medical Services' air ambulance service across Arkansas. Serving as the field-facing representative of the organization, the Coordinator builds and maintains relationships with hospital and EMS partners, attends community and partner events, and promotes awareness of Pafford's critical care transport capabilities to support referral volume, partner satisfaction, and program growth throughout the service area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develops and executes community outreach and marketing initiatives for Pafford's air and ground critical care transport service across the Arkansasservice area.
  • Independently develops and implements territory-specific outreach strategies and exercises discretion in prioritizing facilities, partners, events, and relationship-development activities based on organizational objectives, referral patterns, market conditions, and community needs
  • Analyzes referral trends, partner feedback, market activity, and service-area opportunities and recommends strategic changes to program leadership.
  • Exercises independent judgment in planning outreach activities, resolving partner concerns, allocating approved outreach resources, and representing the organization within established authority.
  • Serves as the primary field liaison to hospital partners, EMS agencies, referring facilities, and community stakeholders, building and maintaining strategic relationships that support referral volume and program growth.
  • Attends and represents Pafford at community events, health fairs, EMS conferences, hospital functions, and partner meetings, including events that occur after hours and on weekends.
  • Coordinates joint outreach, education, and public-relations activities with hospital and EMS partners.
  • Plans, schedules, and staffs outreach events, coordinating materials, displays, promotional items, and logistics.
  • Delivers presentations and briefings to hospital staff, EMS agencies, and community groups on Pafford's transport capabilities and services.
  • Gathers and reports market intelligence, partner feedback, and community needs to program leadership to inform service development.
  • Maintains a contact database and activity log of outreach visits, events, and partner interactions.
  • Develops and maintains marketing collateral, social media content, and public-facing communications in coordination with company leadership and brand standards.
  • Supports community awareness of Pafford career opportunities and recruitment efforts within the service area.
  • Tracks outreach metrics and reports on relationship activity, event participation, and referral trends.
  • Supports and promotes the Pafford EMS culture and serves as a steward of the company brand in all interactions with clinical partners, patients, and the public.
  • Maintains strict compliance with all Pafford Policies & Procedures.
  • Maintains strict compliance with all rules and regulations set forth by state and federal programs.
  • Performs other related duties or tasks as assigned.
Education and/or Work Experience Required
  • High School Graduate or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in marketing, community outreach, business development, or public relations preferred; healthcare or EMS setting a plus.
  • Existing relationships within the Oklahoma City metro and Western Oklahoma healthcare or EMS community strongly preferred.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the organization professionally to hospital partners, EMS agencies, and the public.
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with social media platforms, CRM, and design or marketing tools preferred.
  • Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage a territory, multiple events, and competing priorities independently.
  • Must possess and maintain an unrestricted state driver’s license with a clear driving record; up to 75% travel required across the Oklahoma City metro and Western Oklahoma service area.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, in support of outreach and events.
  • Must be able to act as a professional ambassador for Pafford Medical Services, interacting with clients, hospital partners, governmental agencies, and personnel.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

  • Work may require sitting, driving for extended periods, lifting, stooping, bending, stretching, walking, standing, pushing, pulling, reaching, and other physical exertion.
  • Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly in person, on the telephone, and in group presentation settings.
  • Must possess visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, operate a computer terminal, operate a motor vehicle (day and night), and do extensive reading.
