Job summary

Legacy Communities is seeking a Community Manager / Maintenance Technician to oversee daily operations and maintenance of a manufactured home community. The role blends office administration, resident relations, sales, and hands-on maintenance to deliver a safe, attractive living environment.

The onsite representative will manage leases, ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, coordinate with vendors, and support budgeting and expense control while delivering exceptional customer service to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of property management, maintenance, or related experience preferred.
• Experience in manufactured housing, apartments, RV parks, or property management highly preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn property management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day community operations and serve as onsite representative.
• Collect monthly rent payments and process resident transactions.
• Maintain resident files and ensure documentation is compliant.
• Process applications, leases, and other resident paperwork in line with Fair Housing laws.
• Enforce community rules professionally and manage records in Rent Manager.
• Coordinate with Regional Manager and legal counsel on collections and compliance.
• Market and sell inventory homes and broker resident-owned homes.
• Coordinate home showings, maintain show-ready inventory, and manage closings with staff.
