Job summary

Community Health Centers of the Central Coast, Inc. (CHC) is seeking a Physician to provide primary healthcare services under the Chief Medical Officer's direction with independent responsibility for patient care. The role involves clinical duties, on-call coverage, and active participation in care coordination within CHC clinics on the Central Coast.

The ideal candidate holds an M.D. or D.O., is board eligible or certified, and maintains licensure and DEA credentials.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or board eligibility required.
• Possession of current unrestricted and valid License - Physician and Surgeon from Medical Board of California.
• Possession of current unrestricted and valid DEA license, ACLS for FP/IM, PALS; Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Provides primary healthcare services for Community Health Centers of the Central Coast, Inc. (CHC).
• Performs physical examinations, diagnostic services, and treatment of illnesses and emergencies.
• Orders tests and interprets results to guide patient care.
• Adheres to medical ethics and quality of care standards.
• May supervise mid-level providers as directed.
• Participates in patient population management and care coordination.
