The role requires an MD or DO with residency, a California license, DEA license, and board certification or eligibility. You will supervise mid-level providers, participate in on-call duties, and advance quality care through compliant documentation and ongoing professional

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from an accredited medical school with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
• Completion of an accredited residency.
• Board certification or board eligible in specialty.
• Unrestricted license to practice within California.
• Valid DEA.
• PALS or NRP, ACLS may be required.

Aufgaben

• Provide medical services to the patients of CCHC, inclusive of all functions necessary to provide quality medical care.
• Stabilize and refer patients presenting to office in need of urgent care regardless of category.
• Examine and treat any patient assigned to another provider or assist in triaging and rescheduling.
• Complete the patient charts according to standards and medical record criteria requirements.
• Assist in obtaining lab specimens when necessary.
• Complete administrative projects as assigned by the Medical Director.
• Maintain medical license, board certification or admitting privileges.
• Participate in the on-call schedule as set forth by the Medical Director.
• Supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in the physician's specialty.
• Serve as preceptor for medical students and residents as assigned.
• Adhere to all medical offices policy and procedure manuals.
• Participate in QA activities and audits as needed.
• Advise administration of issues impacting the practice.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the Medical Director.
