The Ohio State University Community Music School invites qualified instructors to join our School of Music team. Instructors will teach private lessons, classes, and ensembles, collaborating with the Community Music School Manager to ensure compliance with policies and to foster an inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities include liaising with students and parents, supporting enrollment growth, and enhancing student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in music or related field; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Master’s degree preferred; knowledge of pedagogy, curriculum development, and assessment.
• Experience teaching or mentoring in music education is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Teach engaging and effective private lessons, classes, and/or ensembles.
• Collaborate with the Community Music School Manager and School of Music administrative team to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Act as liaison between students and parents to address needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Implement strategies to increase enrollment, retain students, and improve student outcomes.
