Mississippi Behavioral Health Services, LLC is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to deliver strength-based, solution-focused therapy in the community, collaborating with clinical and case management teams to support clients' treatment goals.

The role requires a Master’s degree in social work or a related field, a DMH credential, and strong documentation and communication skills. You will conduct assessments, develop crisis plans, and participate in trainings and evaluations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or a mental health field is required.
• DMH credential as a Mental Health Therapist is required.
• Minimum of graduate-level coursework (15 hours) in applied intervention strategies/methods.
• Proficiency with documentation and billing systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide strength-based, solution-focused therapeutic services in the community.
• Develop understanding of clients’ strengths, diagnoses, goals, and treatment plans.
• Assess clients within 30 days and provide ongoing strength-based planning and treatment.
• Create Individualized Crisis Recovery Plans within 30 days.
• Participate in collaborative meetings with staff and community supports.
• Provide crisis intervention according to agency policies and procedures.
• Regularly communicate clients’ status and changes in mood or health issues.
• Produce clinical documentation of every client contact.
• Attend all trainings and clinical supervision sessions.
• Participate in all organizational evaluations.
