Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or a mental health-related field.
• DMH credential as a Mental Health Therapist.
• Minimum 15 hours of graduate-level coursework/practicum in applied intervention strategies/methods addressing behavioral, emotional and mental disorders.
• Proficiency in using computer interfaces for documentation and billing.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strength-based, solution-focused therapeutic services in the community.
• Develop understanding of clients' strengths, diagnoses, treatment goals, and treatment plans.
• Assess clients' strengths, resources, and goals within the first 30 days and provide ongoing planning.
• Create an Individualized Crisis Recovery Plan within 30 days to reduce risk and restore stability.
• Collaborate with staff, other agencies, and community supports as needed.
• Provide crisis intervention according to agency policies and procedures.
• Regularly communicate clients' status, including mood/health changes and safety issues.
• Document every contact with clients.
• Attend trainings and regular clinical supervision sessions.
• Actively participate in all evaluations conducted by the organization.
