Job summary

Hands On Health Associates, LLC in New York seeks a full-time Mental Health Therapist (Licensed or Limited Permit) to provide mental health and substance abuse services, diagnose and treat disorders, and guide clients through crises.

You will develop treatment plans, teach coping skills, and collaborate with a supportive team in a mission-driven clinic offering supervision toward LMHC/LMSW/LCSW licensure and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must hold LMHC/LMSW/LCSW licensure (or eligible for limited permit).
• Minimum 1 year of OMH/OASAS experience in treatment settings.
• Experience with both mental health and substance use disorder treatment recommended.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake assessments
• Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children
• Create individualized treatment plans for each client
• Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
• Perform regular patient outreach
• Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
