Job summary

Spurwink is seeking a collaborative RN to support adults and children with mental health needs in Maine. The role involves nursing consultation, care coordination, health education, and home visits across programs to promote independence and well-being.

The position is full-time with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call work; compensation is $32–$38 per hour, depending on experience. An unencumbered Maine RN license is required.

Qualifications

• Maine licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
• Three years of post-licensure experience in community health, family, pediatric, hospital, or psychiatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage, assess, monitor, educate, coordinate, and intervene to improve care and health outcomes.
• Educate participants and families on health, wellness, medications, self-management, and action plans.
• Conduct in-person visits in the community, homes, hospitals, and clinics based on needs.
• Facilitate group treatment and education interventions.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to share medical history, medications, and health determinants.
• Assist with ISP development, document nursing care in health records, and monitor care.
