Job summary

Prairie Community Services seeks a Mental Health Practitioner to provide respectful support and assist individuals in homes and communities, helping with daily living, coping, boundaries, education, employment, housing, benefits, and health monitoring per each plan.

Starting wage is $25.00 per hour. The role covers group facilitation, monitoring health, and reporting to supervisors, with emphasis on safety, dignity, and client rights. Prairie Community Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Requires coursework in behavioral sciences or related fields.
• Minimum hours of experience delivering services to target populations.
• Fluency in the non-English language of clients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate groups and group discussion.
• Monitor, report and document unusual behavior and medical conditions.
• Communicate concerns and information to supervisors promptly.
• Report neglect and/or abuse of individuals served.
