Trio-Community Meals in Marksville, LA is seeking a skilled driver to transport goods daily and support our community meals program. This full-time, onsite role offers benefits and a reliable schedule within a compassionate team.

You will perform vehicle inspections, stay in close contact with dispatch, and ensure safe delivery to multiple locations while upholding DOT regulations and high customer-service standards.

Qualifications

• A valid state driver’s license (commercial vehicles) and a DOT medical card.
• Acceptable driving record and excellent customer service.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Transporting materials to and from assigned destinations in a safe and effective manner, complying with DOT rules and regulations.
• Complete thorough inspections of any utilized company equipment, before and after each trip.
• Keeping open communication with dispatch to ensure notification of any issues or delays on the route.
