Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Community Marketing Agent in Hawaii (Kapaa) to engage the public as a brand ambassador. Greet, present, and incentivize guests to attend a sales presentation and help with reservations and deposits.

Strong communication, teamwork, and Excel/Word skills are preferred. This is a local, on-site role with training and growth opportunities in a hospitality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment within a shared space.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word; general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales presentation per policy and goals.
• Screen and qualify potential customers using company guidelines.
• Make sales-tour reservations and collect required deposits.
• Attend training, stay updated on marketing materials, and review performance regularly.
• No travel outside the home site area.

In this sales-based role, engages in face-to-face conversations with prospective customers and share information about the vacation club experience. Invites and incentivizes guests to attend award-winning vacation ownership presentations.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesServe as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Travel + LeisureGreet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tourScreen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelinesMake sales-tour reservations and collect required depositsResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Greet, present and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales presentation in accordance with all company policies, compliance standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining minimum performance goals (80% time)Attend all scheduled training sessions, department meetings, keep current on marketing information and materials, keep current on industry trends, and set and review performance goals weekly, monthly and annually. (20%)Travel RequirementsNo travel required outside of the home site’s areaMinimum Requirements and QualificationsSales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required.
