Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. in Honolulu, Hawaii, seeks a Community Marketing Agent to engage guests at Waikiki concierge locations and invite them to a vacation ownership presentation.

• Attend all scheduled training sessions, department meetings, keep current on marketing information and materials, keep current on industry trends, and set and review performance goals weekly, monthly and annually. (20%).
• Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines.
• Make sales-tour reservations and collect required deposits.

Job Summary

The Community Marketing Agent is an island and activity expert! The agent demonstrates a positive attitude within a high-energy environment. In this sales-based role, the Community Marketing Agent works at a variety of concierge style locations throughout popular areas in Waikiki. The agent engages in face-to-face conversations with prospective customers and creates curiosity around Wyndham Resorts. The agent's primary job function is to invite and incentivize guests to attend a vacation ownership presentation.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure
• Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour
• Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines
• Make sales-tour reservations and collect required deposits

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Greet, present and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales presentation in accordance with all company policies, compliance standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining minimum performance goals (80% time)

Travel Requirements

No travel required outside of the home site’s area

Minimum Requirements And Qualifications

Sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required. Must maintain production standards.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Job Experience

• 1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required.

Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this role is $16.00 - $16.00 plus commissions and bonuses.
