Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Property Management, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of residential property management experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Experience managing multiple communities required.
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.

Responsibilities

Community ManagerPosition SummaryThe Community Manager is responsible for the overall operational, financial, and physical performance of Washington Gardens. This position provides leadership, training, and operational support to onsite teams, ensuring company standards, resident satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and financial objectives are consistently achieved.The Community Manager leads by example, drives accountability, and partners with maintenance, regional leadership, and corporate departments to maximize occupancy, revenue, and resident retention.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProperty OperationsOversee the daily operations of assigned community.Ensure property is maintained in accordance with company standards and local, state, and federal regulations.Monitor occupancy, leasing performance, delinquency, resident retention, and turnover.Conduct regular property inspections and implement corrective action plans as needed.Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered to residents and prospects.Financial ManagementAssist with preparation and management of annual operating budgets.Monitor monthly financial performance and identify opportunities to improve NOI.Review financial statements, variances, and operating expenses.Approve invoices and ensure timely processing.Maintain collection efforts and minimize delinquency.Budget tracking for community.Leadership & Team DevelopmentAssist Post Road Management with onboarding and training needs as they arise.Conduct regular performance discussions and provide ongoing feedback.Promote accountability while fostering a positive team culture.Assist with performance improvement plans when necessaryWhy join Post Road Management?
