Job description

What is Facer?

Facer is the world’s largest platform for custom smartwatch faces, empowering a global community of creators and enthusiasts. We’re looking for a Community Manager to connect with our users, amplify their voices, and help shape the future of watch face design.

Role Overview

Location: Remote
Type: Part-time (2 hours/day) with potential to grow into full-time

As our Community Manager, you’ll engage directly with Facer’s community across Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, YouTube, our forums, and the Facer platform itself. You’ll be the official voice of Facer on all these platforms and ensure users feel heard, share their feedback with our internal teams, and design programs to grow and celebrate the community.

This role starts part-time but can grow into full-time based on performance and impact.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and respond to comments, questions, and feedback across all platforms promptly and professionally.

  • Track bugs, feature requests, and overall user sentiment raised by the community, and communicate them effectively to internal teams.

  • Create and execute initiatives like designer interviews, community highlights, and contests

  • Provide insights and metrics on community engagement, sentiment, and growth

Qualifications:
  • You must have used Facer, either as a user or designer, for at least 6 months

  • Experience managing online communities or social media channels.

  • Strong written communication skills and a passion for connecting with others.

  • Organized and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently in a part-time capacity.

  • Bonus: Familiarity with OneSignal, blogging platforms (Medium/Ghost), and all major social channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Reddit, Youtube, etc.)
