Job summary

Bend Studio, part of Sony Interactive Entertainment, is seeking a Community Manager to drive marketing and social strategies for our AAA title. You will embed with the community, amplify player voices, and shape public channels while driving daily engagement and retention.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication and creativity, a passion for games, and a collaborative mindset to work with Marketing, PR, and Product. This role supports full remote work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience as a Community Manager or related field.
• Strong understanding of community and social media engagement in the video game industry.

We are seeking a Community Manager to deliver execution of marketing and social strategies to support the game and its players. In this role, you will be embedded with our community and act as a voice of the studio to incentivize long-term retention, create engaging content to help shape the identity of all public-facing channels, and drive daily engagement with our players.

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of communication skills, creativity, and passion for our games to represent our players and our studio.

This role is eligible for full remote work.

• Actively stay on current trends that relate to our brand and games to create engaging and original content.
• Collaborate effectively with Marketing, PR, and Product to execute social strategies and community initiatives.
• Partner with prominent community members.

• Moderate player discussions online and elevate appropriate action internally.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for our players across all spaces.

Qualifications

3+ years of proven experience as a Community Manager or related field. Strong understanding of community and social media engagement in the video game industry. Strong collaboration skills with a commitment to positive team culture. Ability to act quickly in a fast-paced environment to meet various deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledgeable in various platforms including Discord, TikTok, X, Instagram, and Twitch. Must love games and have a passion for creating them!

At SIE, working with our partners, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location. Please note that the individual base pay range may vary based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below, this is an hourly rate. $36—$48 USD
