Brookside Properties, Inc. is seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee Moreland and Drakewood Apartments in Portland, TN. This role focuses on USDA Rural Development communities, ensuring compliant operations, strong resident relations, and day-to-day management goals.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in multifamily management, great customer service, and leadership capabilities. You will lead leasing, occupancy, collections, budgeting, and onsite staff in a smaller community setting.

Qualifications

• USDA Rural Development property management experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of multifamily property management experience.
• Strong understanding of affordable housing compliance.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations at Moreland and Drakewood Apartments in Portland, TN.
• Maintain compliance with USDA Rural Development requirements.
• Manage leasing, occupancy, collections, and resident relations.
• Coordinate marketing and resident retention efforts.
• Supervise and support onsite staff and vendors.
• Conduct property inspections and follow up on maintenance needs.
• Monitor budgets, expenses and financial performance.
